Leadenhall Market Where better to start this walk than at the Monument to the Great Fire of London?  What next? Close by are Victorian buildings built as warehouses and offices.  Juxtaposed to them is the 177 metre tall 20 Fenchurch Street, 'The Walkie Talkie'.   Immediately after that we are back into Victorian times in the magnificent splendour of Leadenhall Market but soon alongside the City's newest skyscraper, 'The Cheesgrater'.  No show would be complete without the iconic Gherkin. But the show's not complete because after visiting the courtyards of the warehouses of the East India Company it's into the alleyways where Jewish immigrants settled with accompanying stories of poverty and deprivation.  From there it's on to Spitalfield Market with a long view of a Nicholas Hawksmoor church.  Old shop fronts are mixed with new buildings in everchanging London.
